Adobe announces that they “will be changing the way Flash player interacts with the clipboard”. Vulnerabilities in numerous Adobe products have been reported to the company via their web site. The security issues in question have been addressed by Adobe and updates are available. However, other problems with the Adobe Flash Player programming could allow hackers to gain access into your computer. Hackers may gain control of your system through System.setClipboard(). Once your computer is infected a hacker can upload a fake SWF graphic file onto your computer to insert text onto the clipboard. These attacks could crash your system or just cause a mess to your already busy life.
According to Adobe, they are making stricter security features in Flash Player 9 and Flash Player 10 beta that should stop these unwanted attacks on your system. I'm guessing many of you do not have your computer set to update software automatically and have no clue were to go. If you go to your start menu and click on help and support then type Adobe in the search box a list of what you need to do will be at your finger tips. For Adobe software the links are provided to the web site you need. It is all just a click away, no Google research required for this little trick.
