Laptop Safety

Laptops are a wonderful tool to have and an expensive piece of equipment to loose or have stolen. These mobile computers give us the capability of a desktop, and allow connectivity, even outside your home. However, carrying your favorite piece of technology with you every where, can get exhausting and make you lax in your judgment. Most people know not to leave a baby unattended, but do not think twice about walking away from their computer. This however, is so not the case; you should treat your shiny little box just like a new born. Keep it with you at all times, get a carrying bag that is not too flashy and secure it with a password.

Now incase you think I am over reacting, I have a not so funny story to help you remember. This past month my sons girlfriend left her cell phone, purse and other cool little gadgets young women carry around these day’s in her car, while she ran into Mr. Z’s in Stroudsburg to get a few things. As she was leaving the store to her surprise she sees a man in her car taking all of her belongings that she thought would be safe because they were in her car and she lives right around the corner.
