419 Scam

Update on Nigerian emails. Professional email schemes can trick wealthy and poor people alike into breaking the law. The criminal organizations behind sending out these bogus emails are well-established felons. They can pass background checks done by you. Recogizining these types of emails by obvious use of language such as the word "urgent" and or "confidential." Bogus emails will no doubt offer a commission of at least $10 million for assistance in transferring funds to the United States. Most present a business proposal, and the sender alleges to be an auditor, accountant or foreign government official.

If you receive one of these Nigerian emails asking you to send personal or banking information, do not reply or send any information. There is little, you can do to keep these emails out of your in box. Eventually even the well-informed professionals will open such vial documents. The best you can do is just click on your delete button. This will file the email with the rest of your trash on your computer. Just clean, out off your system at your next scheduled maintenance. Remember nothing in life is free.
